STOCK also offers a milling program of special HSC end mills used for the mold and die industry as well as for hard-milling applications. These cutters are made of a specially developed carbide grade that helps to withstand sudden excessive wear at the cutting edge, therefore improving reliability and performance. We offer 2-flute and 4-flute radius cutters & torus cutters with the extreme hard TiAlSiN coating. The 6-flute high helix end mills complete the offering and are mostly used for side milling applications.
Every tool is offered twice with 2 different profiles, for hard machining a hard profile (Type H, ~63 HRc), and an universal profile for machining materials with normal hardness (Type N, <54 HRc).
